Switch in headphone jack stuck. Take end of headphones and gently push in/out and wiggle a little. This might realign it. It could also be a little burnt in the switch - especially if you have the volume cranked and either plug or unplug the headphones.

Just to kind of piggyback your thread, I had a question about the rear stereo controls. My headphone jack lamp is always on in front. With RSC Mode ON/OFF. Is it supposed to stay on? I tried putting in a headphone jack like said in the previous post. No change. I did notice that with RSC On the rear speakers turn off, or at least very low. I tried the owners manual but it's pretty vague. Can somebody briefly explain this system to me?
