Default 02 Taurus won't start when hot

2002 taurus starts fine in the morning or after being parked inside the parking garage at work all day. But when I drive somewhere and park outside in the heat (its been 90+ here lately), it won't start back up. I have to wait a while and then it will start. What I mean by "it won't start back up" is that is acts like it is trying to turn over but sounds like the battery is depleting, until eventually, all I hear is a click (no engine sounds) when trying to turn over. Then I wait....and it starts up about 10 minutes later. I took the battery in and had it load tested. Battery is good. Checked the battery connections and they are clean. Probably not related, but about 3 months ago I had the cam shaft sensor and synchro replaced at a ford dealer. Other than this, it has run fine since then, but thought I would mention it since it was fairly recent. Could it be the starter? But why only in the heat or when engine is hot?

Thanks!
