My Taurus X is misfiring. Finally got the CEL to stay on long enough to have the code read. Cylinder 3 Misfire. I don't have a copy of Chilton/Haynes manual. Does anyone have a cylinder position diagram for the 08 Taurus X? Its the Duratech 3.5L V6. Thanks in advance.

 

the info I have shows the rear bank numbers 1-2-3 with #3 at the driver side end.


generally, if you look at the cylinder heads, one side is closer to the front of the engine...most domestic manufacturers label this as bank 1. the most forward cylinder on back 1 is cylinder 1.
