Default 2002 ford taurus 3.0L missing at low rpm's

my 2002 taurus 3.0L has acted like it has a miss at low rpm's like leaving from a stop light. i changed the plugs and plug wires recently but still does it. it also seems to be worse when the a/c is on. could it be a fuel filter problem and where is it located on this car.

Default Did you ever get this resolved?

If so, what was it.

If not, how does it run at 3K RPM or higher? If good at high RPM, probably not fuel filter, more likely vacuum leak.

Have you put a code scanner on it and read the sensor readings at idle? Especially O2 and fuel trim related readings.

well i fixed the problem. i changed plug and plug wires and rechecked to make sure they was not arking or anything and found the oreillys gave me the wrong plugs. i had an old one and checked it with the new one and was a pretty good difference. that goes to show that no matter what don't trust parts stores for anything. i am still having the heater problem though. any help would be very appreciated cause it is getting colder here.

What heater problem?

Glad you got the plug problem fixed. There is a lot of confusion, by almost everyone, about which plugs to use and what the proper gap is.

sometimes the heater blows hot sometimes warm sometimes cold. if you put it on vent hot, it will blow warm to hot. but if you put it on defrost for a while it starts blowing cold. it takes a while to blow warm also.
