2016 Taurus AC vent adjustment. Can the dash vents be modified/adjusted from original positions? Currently center console vent on drivers side blows directly on the driver's right hand. Is there a way of modifying the vent position adjuster to allow more adjustment in the up & down positions?

 

On my 2015 Taurus, the right drivers-side instrument panel vent seems to be sort of adjustable left and right and up and down, but the range is very limited. Sliding the *** to the far left shuts off the vent. I can''t find anything about vents in the owners manual.
