Hey, I was wondering if there is any issue with me jacking up my taurus by the front cross member. I do this on my other cars and it looks sturdy, but thought I would check first. Basically if you jack from the pinch welds on the side you no place on the side to put a jack stack. So, I would like to jack from the cross member and put the jack stands on the pinch welds. Anyone have any word of caution on doing this?

 

To answer my own question, that front cross member is fine for jacking up
