How good of a car is the 02 taurus se. i just bought one with 63000 on it are they good cars or should i expect to be changing some things. i have put 100 miles on it since i got it. it seems fine so far. anything i should expect??

If you got an SE, I am assuming you have the 24Valve 3.0L which is a pretty decent engine. Not too many problems with those cars except the crappy link pins that make a "Clunk" noise over bumps and trying to keep the coolant clean.

Have a dealer run the VIN for recalls though. The coil spring recall (04M04) is pretty important if you live in the NE are of the country where salt is used on the roads. I also think that year had the stop light switch recall on it. Check it out.

I had a 94 with 225k on it, and a 95 with 140k on it. Ended up rebuilding the 94 3.0 and putting it in the 95. I now have 4k on the rebuild and everything is going ok. Like Mulletman said the coil springs on both cars needed replaced, but other than that I couldn't be happier with them!
