94 Ford Taurus Brake Problem...
1994 Ford Taurus 3.8L Engine
Hello
My dad and I are having a problem bleeding the brakes to his 94 Taurus. See, we had to replace a broken brake line (Front Driver Side Line) and just to be safe, bled all the lines. Now we have a spongy brake pedal and brakes that don't brake as well as they used to. I don't know if my dad missed anything because he doesn't have much experience with Anti-Lock Brakes. He had the car on while he bled the lines (I was pumping the brakes for him).
If you can give any tips, we would be very grateful!
Thanks
Chris

Have him bleed the brakes again with the vehicle not running. Start at the farthest wheel away from the master cylinder (passenger rear) and work to the master cylinder. (driver rear, passenger front, driver front, master cylinder) Make sure the bleeder screws are closed before foot is removed from brake pedal.
