98 Taurus, P0443, Changed Canister purge solenoid but still have a problem.

hi guys...

I've replaced Canister purge solenoid part in my 98 Taurus Se.

but 'the Service Engine Soon' light comes on again.. TT..

The code is P0443 : EVAP purge Ctrl Valve CKT Malfunction.

Plz tell me what do i need to do....?

Didthe new valvematch the old one?

That was a Genuine part,, and looks exactly same as old one.. :>

That omits an aftermarket design flaw. Does CKT stand for circuit? I should have an abbreviation book by now - or write one (or rather finish writing it - if I am bored).
