Default Cruise Control Servo Replacement

My '94 Taurus Wagon (3.0 L - Engine Code U) needs a new cruise control servo installed. I know the part is about $80.00 and the shop I used quoted an installation charge of about $270.00. My buddy had his servo replaced on his Jeep - including the part for $124.00. How hard is it to install this part on this car?

Not hard to do. Just watch how the old one comes off and replace the new one. I think it may be in a little bit of a tight place. Just go slow and watch carefully.

And if you're unsure, just take a digital picture or draw a picture so that you can reference how the old one was connected. Also mark the connections on the old and new one. Makes it even easier.

Thanks - it was easy to do. I had a buddy press the gas pedal to make it easier to remove and insert the cable. About 15 minutes total.
