Door switches, Bad BCM, Gremlins?

Door switches, Bad BCM, Gremlins?
1999 Wagon
Having an interesting problem but all the symtptons might not be connected.
1. The dash lights delay 1-2 seconds when I turn the headlights on.
2. The door ajar and interior lights sometimes stay on for awhile after opening and closing a door.
The door thing is new, it happens with either front door, not all the time, and sometimes fixes itself when I put the car in gear.
I got the first indication that there was a door problem when I got the double beep when setting the alarm - especially when I pressed the remote lock button two times quickly.

thanks to all those that share tips and Info
I followed the tips found in other posts and fixed the door ajar problem by squirting a bunch of WD-40 on the latches.
I still don't know why the instrument lights delay comming on.
Does anyone else experience this?
