Hey guys, first post. Long story short looking for a new car and this guy is trying to convince me that his 3.7 pis (police interceptor sedan) is a eco boost but from what I’ve read and heard the 3.7 never came with eco boost / turbos. Only the 3.5. So if anyone can confirm this that would be greatly appreciated because the car itself looks nice but I don’t wanna waste the time going to look at it if he’s lying. Thanks guys

 

3.5 ecoboost is a option, 3.5 and 3.7 duratech(non ecoboost) are options.
It should be pretty easy to determine what engine it is, do you have pictures of the engine by any chance?

 

No pic of the engine bay rn, asked for vin haven’t heard back. But he claims it’s the 3.7. But then claims it’s the eco boost also. So there is no eco boost 3.7 /turbo 3.7? Correct?

 

None I have ever seen or heard of.
If you get the VIN I can run it and see what it's got from the factory.
