I have a 1995 Taurus that part of the switch is sloppy.It starts ok but when you go to pull the key out there is no definite slot it stops at when you turn the ignition off.(alot of wiggle room forward and back)is there a way to tighten this. Thanks in advance

 

i also have a 95 taurus. mine does the same thing. i dont let it bother me, just deal with it, you know. better than replacing parts and spending money if you dont have to.

 

Otherwise your looking at taking the steering colum apart to replace the lock.
