I have an '04 taurus bought used a few months ago...well its been raining here alot lately....and the other day i noticed that there was a lot of water on the passenger side floor. My son says its probably a clogged drain under the wiper vents somewhere becuase this has happened to one of his friends chevys. Just dont know if its the same with Fords. Please someone give us some advice. Its suppose to rain all week and i know water cant be a good thing inside the car....thanks

 

yes they have a tsb out for that problem check at y0ur local dealer

 

I have a 2003 taurus and I had the exact same problem. I went to my dealer(it was under warranty at that time) and they got new parts that go under the cowl area on passenger side and the tech that was working on it used sealant to seal up all gaps that are present on new parts and reinstalled and no leaks since. I think this might be a taurus problem here and there because i have cheched other tauruses and notice water in the cabin area on some of them. Hope this will help you out.
