Default OEM Part!
What is the part number for the original drive belt tensioner, most of the ones I have seen do not look like the one installed on my 2003 Taurus. Is there one out there close to the original?

Many aftermarket replacements don't always appear the same as the original.
Is there some reason you are suspicious of the one presently on your vehicle?

Yes, shop rock auto parts. They sell some Motor craft parts if available.
