Default oil pan gasket

i have a 2002 Taurus with 190k miles on it. The oil pan has been leaking for a while now where it looks like the gasket got "pushed out". Can i just take the pan off clean it up and use some Form a Gasket or do i need a new gasket all together.

I would get a new gasket. It is not that expensive and a lot easier than the gasket maker.

OK got the oil pan gasket changed. I'm glad i got the new gasket instead of trying the form a gasket stuff because i never want to do that again. but it seems i misaligned something on the passenger side of the Y pipe because there is a noticeable exhaust leak there now.

All you need to do is loosen the flange bolts and seat the exhaust up to the manifold. It should just take a little adjustment. I have seen where one side is tightened a lot more than the other and cause a leak.
