I have a 02 Taurus. Once in a while, there is steam that comes from the grill. It only does it for about 20 or 30 seconds then quits. I've tried to get out and see where it's coming from but it quits before I can get the hood open. It's like a valve or something is openingand then closing. I don't seem to be losing any antifreeze and I don't see any wetness on the radiator. My mother-in-law has a 2000 Taurus and my daughter has a 97 that do the same thing. Is this common or do all three of our cars havethe sameproblem?

I have a 97 Sable an the same happened to me with the steam.
It was raining when it happened an I drove thru a few deep puddles that might have splashed up on the radiator.
i seen steam for a few seconds only when i turned the car off.
