Cool SHO ignition coil compatability

I have A '95 SHO, in which I've been having coil issues... I have since purchased an aftermarket coil, but the pigtail sockets have tab issues. Now I'm wondering if my stock coil has been superceeded and I can do a simple switch of pigtails or if I'm having to stick with a coil that has the identicle plug.

A little light on the situation would be greatly appreciatied, or at least a little help in the right direction would be great!

thanks,

Did you go aftermarket for performance, or just for replacement?

Theres thousands of tauruses in the junkyards, not too sure about the 2nd gen sho, but when I need a part for my 96 gl I know I can find tons of complete tauruses in any pick-apart.
