My 1998 3.0 Taurus engine is pretty well gone. My nephew has a good running 1993 3.0 Taurus engine (already pulled)that he says I can have. Can I swap the 1993 into my 1999? Are there any problems I can expect doing this sway?

May have to swap intake and exhaust manifolds and possibly water pump (if different style). Most important is that the transmission must bolt on the same. Same number of bolts - arranged the same. Also you want to take a quick look that the motor mounts bolt on about the same.
