I'm in Atlanta right now -bought new tires before I left FL last week, had my wheelsbalanced 3 times since then cuz my Bull started doingthe shake, rattle & roll, andI finally found out why today -one of my wheels is bent. [sm=insomnia.gif] Two quick questions:

1. Which other year models use the same (exact) stock wheels as my 97 GL?

2. Are theSHO wheels the same size and offset as my GL? (I might be able to get a set of 4for free)

Also, if anyone has a stock wheel for sale (yup, just 1), please PM me. I'd like to have it byTuesday - going back to FL then.

 

Aluminum? Steel? might be helpful here. If the wheel diameter is the same the SHO wheels will work on your GL, just be careful that the rim width is not to much for your current sized tire.

 

Sorry, the wheels arealuminum. Yeah, I was wondering whether the SHO wheels were the same size, cuz even though they might be free, I'd have to buy more tires if my current ones don't fit - not worth it to me.

 

Pretty sure the SHO's are 16", Although to your original ? any 96-01 taurus wheel should apply to your app.

You mean you need 15". If they are aluminum I've never seen 14" aluminum wheels on Taurus

 

Yes, you're right. I checked a website earlier for my wheel size whichsaid 14 x 4. That sounded rather small, seeing how my tiny 300ZX has stock 15's. So, I grabbed a flashlight just now and went outside to check my Bull - it definitely has 15's.
