Recently registered to the forum but not new to it. I find lots of great useful information on here and for once I thought I could share something useful.

My wife bought an Escape this spring and now that the weather is getting icy I recently searched for putting a set of 16 inch wheels and tires on a 2013 Escape without any luck. I want 16" because for one the are cheaper and two I did the same for my F150 last year, went from 18" to 17" wheels and tires also for pricing difference.

The new Escapes, 2013+, come with 17, 18, or 19 inch wheels, hers has 17". Ford also changed the bolt pattern from the previous 5x114.3mm to 5x108mm. Anyway you can drop down to a 16" rim and there will still be enough clearance for the brakes.
