New to this forum, hoping that I could get some suggestions about what has caused the drastic drop in mileage. I have a 94 Tempo 2.3 with 40k on it, it was getting around 30mpg but recently has dropped to around 20mpg!! No sign of any leaks or lack or change in performance. Any ideas out there? Any ideas would be helpful and Thank You

 

Dude, it's a Probe and it's a Ford from 1994.

The first thing I'm going ask is "Do you keep good care of your car?"

Poor maintance will drop your MPG faster then a rock.

 

On second thought, also check you IAC sensor
