Default 2002 T-Bird Head Gasket Prob.

My 2002 T-Bird is at the dealer for a new head gasket, under warranty. Torn apart since April 20. Fighting me on warranty responsibility. Anyone seeing head gasket probs. in new Birds, as in the 80s and 90s models? Might be time for a new Corvette.

Any car can get a bad head gasket. Usually it never occurs so soon in the life of the engine. I'd say the factory should be responsible in that short amount of time unless this is a car that's driven coast-to-coast,etc. and thereby has a lot of unusual mileage. As far as GM cars - I'd rather drive a Ford. At least they don't try to hide things that should have been recalled for 10 consecutive model years.
