Default 97 4.6 SportTBIRD Anti Theft Alarms Falsely

When the remote transmitter is used to lock the car after closing the doors, the system will alarm falsely after 20 seconds. The system will also alarm falsely if the interior door lock switch is used. The car starts OK with the key, the interior lights go off/on with the closing/opening of the doors, the remote transmitter opens & locks the doors, and the system will not alarm falsely if the the door lock button are manually depressed. How does one pinpoint the possible switch(3/door, trunk, hood, ignition lock) shorted to ground assuming the anti theft alarm control module is not damaged?
