Default 97 Thunderbird Auxiliary Heat tube ?

[:@] Has any one here ever heard of a aux heating tube for a Ford Thunderbird ?

The other day while driving a strange looking hose burst under the hood. It is not connected to the radiator but runs in front of the manifold. It has approx 4" of 3/4" hose then a very thick clamp...the rest of the hose runs along side the spark plugs and connect again via another clip. I have no idea what this hose is called. Someone told me that it might be the above aux heating tube....does that make any sense ?

It was dripping raidfluid and my eng temp went into the red lever VERY fast. If anyone can helpI would greatly appreciate it.
