Default How To Replace 97 rear back window trim?

The service manual provides the tool number to remove the old rear back window upper trim but the Ford dealer indicates the tool is no longer offered by Ford. I have the new trim and am anxious to replace the deteriorating trim. Anyone know where to find a tool and the best method to reduce the changes of damaging nearby paint surfaces? Can the upper trim strip be removed without touching the side trim pieces?

Default RE: How To Replace 97 rear back window trim?

I had a glass installer replace the trim. It was quick(<10 min), installed perfectly, and there was no charge.
