Thunderbird 1995 - the speedometer works but the odometer has stopped. At one time I could jiggle the **** or hit a bump and it would work. Do I contact Ford and buy a new Odometer with an estmated mileage on it? or what are my options. I would like it fixed. thank you

 

If the dealer has one it would start at zero miles and likely cost a good bit to get installed. But it is likely you may want or have to buy one cheaper at a local salvage yard (although there you chance getting another broken one).

 

my 1990 thunderbird odometer stopped so i got one from the junkyard and installed it myself....if ur not sure its a good odometer by the warranty. I got mine from Pick-a-Part
Its very easy to install it urself just get a repair manuel if u wanna be extra cautious...i didnt use one the i just used common sense and practice at the junkyard taknig parts off
