1984 E350 w/460 starting problems

Default 1984 E350 w/460 starting problems
I have a 1984 Ford E350 Box van with a 460. The engine turns over great when turning the key but wont start. When you release the key the engine tries to start. I was told at the Ford dealership it could be 3 things. Ignition key switch, ignition switch and the ignition module. I change each one trying to start the vehicle between each and it still does the same thing. HELP!!! Mike

Sounds like the ignition box. I've had that happen where the thing fires up just as you release the key.
