Default 1999 ford escort coupe.

Good evening! I am an owner of a 1999 ford escort coupe zx2. I have a knock in the rear of the car, maybe driver side tire area. I can hear it when I slow down, or drive at 15-25 mph. Wheel does not shake or shimy and car feels great, I just hear this light knock. It's def in the rear of the car not motor. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you! Mike

As the owner of many escorts, the rear hub bearings were all crap. I'd start there; it was a very fertile area of investigation. Of course, just about anything could be broke, but if it's rotational, then it's in one of the wheels.

Thank you for the reply. Seems like the fix was simply getting a new tire and making sure all the tires were properly inflated. I just bought the car when I posted the thread, so after I went through it a bit I saw the tires weren't great.
