2006 mustang gt smokes

Default 2006 mustang gt smokes

my mustang gt smokes for about 15 seconds when you start it from a cold start. have taken to dealership they don't know any ideas??

from the exhaust I am assuming? Describe the smoke. Is it a whitish color? If that is what it is, then that seems to be the norm for these. I don't think it is smoke, more of water that is evaporating.

Jenny didnt you say in a previous thread the smoke was a black or blue smoke? if it is either of these colors somthing is diffently worng. blue would be a indicator of burning oil while the black smoke could be a number of things begining with bad sensors or somthing makin the car burn improper gas/air mixtures id start with a general tune up you now some plugs/wires and maybe get a diagnostics test ran to find possible sensors causeing the improper fuel mix..hope you get it figured out good luck

In the old days if you had white smoke, meaning oil in the cylinder on start up only, you would have bad valve seals. This allowed oil to seep into, and lay ontop the piston. Once you started it up...........smoke city.
