2018 Explorer Wrench Light
Wondering if anyone has any advice or experience with this.
I bought a used 2018 explorer. That night the wrench light came on.
1. The dealer I bought it from replaced the starter because Autozone tester said the starter was bad. The light came back on after.
2. Took it to a Ford dealer and they did some sort of reset of the system. The light came back on after that.
3. Took it back to Ford and they replaced the start stop button. The light came back on.
4. Took it back to Ford and they found a loose wire. The light came back on.
5. Took is back to Ford. They had it for 2.5 weeks, called the Ford engineers and everything. Finally decided it was the body control module. They replaced it. Now I’m sitting here with the light back on.
I’m just desperate to figure out what the heck is going on and looking for answers anywhere I can. I already put in a buy back request with Ford, but it takes 7-10 days. So I’m just researching in the meantime.
Anything??
