I'm helping a friend with a 61 Econoline pick up with a 289 swapped into it. From the numbers found on the engine it appears to be a 289 from a 64 Fairlane. The engine has a spacer plate under the carb with a hose running to where I believe the road draft tube would be attached at the rear of the intake manifold for crankcase ventilation? There are no openings in the valve covers or the timing chain cover to fill oil, is there another fill location? Thanks
