3.0L pinging
2001 ford taurus 3.0l u code engine.
Engine light flashing. Code scanner told me Number 2 misfire, Found torn boot . I replaced spark plugs gapped at 46 as per sticker under hood and replaced wireset. Double checked wiring on plugs . Disconnected battery to clear computer . Engine light now out but have miss and pinging on acceleration. .Havent had a chance to get it rescanned but any ideas on what to look at now
