I am replacing my '46 flathead coupe with a Fairlane 1969 302. I am keeping the stock drivetrain and I need to know if I can use the automatic spacer plate that was on the 302, it had a C-4 hanging on it.................... I have a bell housing adapter for the stock '46

Are the spacer plates the same for an automatic and a manual?
