is a 351c considered a big block or small block?

HI Leroy
So if you go by the Transmission bolt pattern the Cleveland is a small block.. the FE series and the 385 series both have
completely different bolt patterns and the FE is completely different design
Hope that helps.
BTW. a Ford 4R70W transmission will bolt the the "small " bolt pattern. I have one behind my Cleveland.
you do need an after market computer to run that transmission.
