Default 65 mustang engine swap

baught a 65 mustang(289) from a guy and the engine was sizied so i got a engine out of a 86 mustang(302) and i was going to put back together with te balencer off of the 289 so i wouldnt have to buy a new pulley. ive been told that it that it has to be 56oz or somthing like that but i looked in summit and they have all diff. weights. i was woundering if yall could advise me on this? Also im planing on using the old fly wheel but i dont know if it has to be a certain weight and will the distributar out of the 289 work in the 302?

You should keep it simple! Keep the same ballancer and flywheel with the same motor. If you dont you will have a big problem these are ballanced to work with the crankshaft. 94 4x4 ranger
