92 T-bird missing
O.k. Strange problem w/ my '92 T-Bird 5.0, AOD. When under load car misses. Not to the point
where it isn't drivable. I have replaced the following items with no change... 1. Transmission (unrelated, but just so it doesn't seem like an OD or torque converter problem) 2. Cap/wires/plucs/rotor
3. MAF 4. Flushed FI w/ 3m fuel rail cleaner 4. Changed out coil. NO TROUBLE CODES. Idles fine. Cleaned TB thoroughly. Cleaned EGR system and replaced gasket. I'm clueless. My brother works at the local Ford dealer- he and the other techs kinda clueless. It really acts like a MAF. Oh, also checked TPS several times. No shorts or gaps. Anyone else ever heard of this? It liveable but annoying. If I drill it, it smooths out unless you are going up a REALLY steep incline. Also, the trans was t-teched. NO blow-by. No oil or coolant loss. 160000mi. Has been doing it now for about 60,000mi. If anyone ever heard of this or had this problem a bunch of us would be interested. Thanks in advance!
