93 Escourt Wagen LX

This a 1.9L I CAN PUT STATER FLUID IN IT AND IT WILL RUN AND WHEN IT BURNS OFF IT DIES
WHEN IT DID RUN WHEN ONE GOT UP TO 55 IT WOULD DIE. ANY SUGGESTIONS

is there a pressure port on the fuel rail , looks like a tire valve stem,
