a friend has a 94 mustang gt and the fuel pump went out on it....now the question she has when she went to the auto parts store they they have 2 kinds one with a brass adaptor and one with a plastic.....does it matter which one she gets or how do i find out which one she needs

 

I believe that they are referencing the outlet tube on the fuel pump. Some have a plastic and some have a brass outlet tube. Who's doing the work? If you're dropping it out yourself, them I would pull the pump and verify which model it is.

 

i not doing the work....and thats what i kinda figured, that it would have to get pulled to find out...thanks
