Hi. I'm trying to decide if I should swap a cratered 302 with a 351. You need to change the computer right? Well how hard is that to do? The 351 is a 94 and still in the truck. Please help me? The wreckers around here have been no help at all. What about the wiring for the transmission? I know they'll bolt together but I need to know how much hair I'm going to lose before I'm done the job! I have both trucks so both harnesses and everything.

 

Just use the wiring harness and computer from the 94 shouldn`t be no major problem.

depends on how much of everything you've got...in my best years,it would take me a week working all alone.Figure on finding worn,broken and unexpected parts....
