Default fuel mileage

hi ,i was researching about better fuel mileage, with gas prices who isnt, well i come across using a magnet on your fuelline is supposed to give you better mileage and more horsepower ,fuel is supposed to burn more efficient due to something with the atoms and molecules breaking up.does anyone know if the magnet trick works, and if it does how strong of a magnet do i need,i have a 2001 ford ranger edge 4x4 with a 4.0 automatic and my mileage is not good ,thanks

Default RE: fuel mileage

If MPG gains were as simple as adding a magnet to the fuel line, I'm 'pretty sure' it would be a factory installed device with the 'top dog' mileage battles take'n place....
