ok so i have a 98 taurus with about 80k miles on it, and the heater has stoped working... the gauge goes up on the dash to show engine temp. however the vent continues to blow cold air and it never gets warm... what could this be... possably like a blend door or something like that????? any help is grately appreciated, im not much of a mechanic so im not to sure as to whats going on

 

check coolant level. maybe not enough flow through heater core.
