Default abs

I just bought a new ford explorer. when I first got it when started abs light would come on (in green) then go off. Yesterday the light came on (in yellow) and stayed on for the rest of the time I was driving. I started today and it was on but quickly went off. This afternoon came back on and stayed on for the whole trip. It is standard for light to come on (for ex. to show its working) or do I need to get it checked (if so what could be possible problems)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would go get it checked, usually the light comes on for a few seconds and goes out. If it stays on it indicates a problem.

The light should come on when first started and then go out. I haven't heard of it ever being green thou. If it comes back on or doesn't go out then there is a problem with the ABS system. What year is it??

check your wheel speed sensors for broken or missing teeth , craked magnet, or crap on it . they will be on the rotor inside. the magnet is mounted on the knuckle .
