I have an 88 escort that has driver side seat belt stuck forward. The seatbelt motor is getting power and does work, i manually put the seat belt into the back position (door closed) but with the key in it, it automatically goes forward. The car has the door ajar light on, it thinks the driver side door is open at all times. Any ideas? Is there a certain switch for the seatbelts, seperate from the door switch? I have looked but cant figure it out, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
