which bank is bank 2?

i have 2001 windstar with the 3.8. which o2 sensor is the one for bank 2

Bank 2 is your rear manifold toward firewall.

No problem, just know this if you are preparring to replace o2 sensor, make sure you don't have a intake manifold gasket leak this will give you a lean code from o2 sensor.
