Default check engine light

just replaced battery to my 04 f-150 went from a 540 cold cranking amps (original baterry through manufacture-motorcraft) to a everstart 700 cold cranking amps. i looked it up in the book at the parts store and gave me this as a replacement. is this an issue and would it make my check ingine light stay on???? or is there a reset mode procedure i gotta go through?

In My Opinion, yeah the battery is not gonna cause the check engine light to appear. Your check engine light illuminates when there is a condition that indicates emmisions failure.

Have the code read. I agree with the above poster. Maybe there is a sensor that got
unplugged when you replaced the battery. Post back exacet number.
