I have a F150 2003.I was at the gas station getting gas and when I wen't to start my truck it sounded funny and started smoking out my hood.When I backed up to a parking space it stopped smoking.Now my check engine light is on.Has anybody heard of this?

 

Did you add any engine oil? If so check to make sure your oil cap is properly installed. Overhead valve engines are sensitive to the oil cap being loose or removed while running. They can also splash oil out on to the block, IE your smoke??
