E=4.0L SOHC

E=4.0L SOHC
Im going this Friday to go look at a 1997 ford explorer and it has 77000 miles.It has the 4.0L SOHC and was wondering if this is a good engine?I've heard they could have some problems with the timing chains,is this engine something I should stay clear of ???
