Default E4OD 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive

Is it possible to use a 1991 E350 diesel E4OD 2 wheel drive transmission and bolt on the 4 wheel drive components and use it in an E4OD 4 wheel drive diesel 1989 F350 truck?
Thanks
Dave

Default Tail Drive Shaft

I've been able to find out that I'll need to switch the tail shafts. The 4 wheel drive shaft is shorter.
Anyone else have any information?

Yes, you would have to change the output shaft to bolt the transfer case up. To do this, you have to tear the trans completely down. It's a pretty big job. Hope this helps.
