Is Ethanol OK for my F-250?
Every where I fuel up has 10% ethanol in the gas. It's prbably been that way awhile, but I've never questioned it before now.
Is this fuel safe for my 5.4L?
Oh, ya.
It's a 2000 model so no Flex fuel.

Should be no issue running fuel with 10% ethanol. This fuel first came out as the "REFORMULATED" gasoline as they called it in most areas. It caused some fuel pump havic with older model vehicles that first came into contact with the ethanol formulated fuel. New vehicles are designed to operate on up to 10% ethanol added to the fuel.
The FLEX FUEL vehicles are designed to run on E85 which is comprised of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. These vehicles use a completely different fuel pump designed with ethanol resistant seals for the high percentage of ethanol.
